Wow! Did anyone see Kevin Sorbo and John Lennox in Against the Tide last night? We ordered our copy from Patterns of Evidence. You can find more information on the last Thinker Update.

Oxford Professor John Lennox reminds us of a modern-day Paul who has a true missionary approach in mind. It is so exciting to see yet another true Biblical scholar join the ranks of those who keep their Biblical worldview and the objective truth of Scripture front and center in their respective fields (i.e.-mathematics, geography, archaeology, etc.). This is definitely a must see.

Professor Lennox reminds us that no field is open to personal interpretation. Each field of science is subject to the one objective truth of God’s Word. You must have a standard against which to measure. Everything measurable must have something to measure by. For example, Professor Lennox said that the Earth cannot have created itself because nothing cannot create something. It takes a supernatural Creator, like all other miracles. It is not so much what we find in the ground, it’s what worldview you use to interpret it. Man’s or God’s? As Ken Ham, of Answers in Genesis Ministry says, we all have the same facts to work from–it’s the worldview you use to interpret those facts that makes all the difference. It’s a question of Biblical Authority.

Thank you @tim Tim Mahoney for making this available to see. You and Mr. Sorbo almost persuade us to become filmmakers if we got to interview people like John Lennox! 🙂

“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?” (John 5:46-47).
